Storytimes Thursday Morning For babies to preschoolers every Thursday at 10:30am. Stories, songs, fingerplays and crafts. Free. Drop-ins welcome.
Truro Tots Playgroup Meets every Monday from October to May from 9-11am. This free activity is provided for children aged birth-3 and their parent or caregiver and is funded by the town of Truro. Toys, stories, songs, crafts and snack provided.
AWE Early Learning Station Thanks to the Friends of the Truro Library, we now have an AWE Early Learning Station (ELS) in the children's room. It is a self-contained educational tool for children ages 2-10 and features 50 educational software programs with some 500 activities. The ELS covers seven curricular areas including reading, writing, phonics, math and problem solving, science, social studies, arts and music. You can sign-up for a 20 minute session for your child. Children's Technology Review A monthly "Consumer Reports" - style publication, dedicated solely to children’s technology products. FORMATS: It is available in both Electronic (PDF and database) and Print formats (print, PDF, & database).
