Ways to Give

Although the library’s operating budget comes from the Town of Truro, there are certain things which are not covered by that appropriation. Funds gifted to the library and to the Friends are used to provide special programming for adults and youth, purchase special equipment and furnishings, and enable new projects, collections and services. The Friends raise funds throughout the year through used book sales, bake sales, the sale of notecards and other specialty items, and through the annual June membership drive. The Truro Library Endowment Fund was established in 1999 to provide financial stability in the event of future funding emergencies and to assure the continued excellence of our programs and services.
