The port-side quarterboard from the fully-rigged English ship, Jason, which wrecked east of Ballston Beach in a heavy storm on December 5, 1893, is on display in the periodical reading room of the library. The Jason was the only fully-rigged ship to be wrecked on Cape Cod. The quarterboard is on loan from George D. Bryant of Provincetown.
